Welcome to fancyaswim!

My love for swimming started when I was born, spending all my childhood summers in the beautiful bay of Vouliagmeni in Athens Greece!

​

Swim training was on every summer for me and my friends at the local swimming pool.

Once the session was over, exhausted as we might have been, we headed straight to the sea for endless hours of fun!

​

During teenagehood swim practise with the local squad ceased....

​

...until summer of 2009, when I swam a 400m point to point distance back and forth with a friend!
 

My love for swimming reignited, leading me to a path of ongoing self-learning and practising!

​

A year later, encouraged by another friend, cold water swimming during winter & spring was added in the mix!

​

An addi(c)tion I have happily passed on to friends myself, sharing many winter afternoons of fun at the beach!

​

So when in Athens, if you fancy a swim, I'll be more than happy to meet you to enjoy a nice swim together, in one of Athens' most beautiful seaside spots!
