My love for swimming began very early on,  growing up spending the summer in the beautiful bay of Vouliagmeni, in Athens, Greece

​

Every summer, together with my friends, we would have swimming practice at the local swimming pool. After that, even when exhausted, we would head straight to the sea for endless hours of fun.

​​

Subsequently, during my teenage years, swimming practice with the local gang ceased…

​

Until summer of 2009, when I swam 400m with a friend!
 

My love for swimming was reignited, leading me to a wonderful path of ongoing self-learning and practising.

​

A year later, encouraged by a very close friend and mentor, I took up cold water swimming during winter & spring!

​

I happily passed on this addi(c)tion to my friends, sharing with them many winter afternoons at the beach.

​

So when in Athens, if you fancy a swim, I will be more than happy to meet you to enjoy a nice open water swim together, in one of the most beautiful seaside spots in Athens!
